Dr. Juan Sosa
Dr. Sosa is a first year psychiatry resident at Kaweah Delta Health Care District. I graduated from Ross University School of Medicine. My pursuit of Psychiatry stems from my interest in neuro-biochemistry, psychopharmacology, and fascination with the human mind. I hope to provide culturally sensitive care, while advancing the field. I am interested in addiction, interventional, and general adult psychiatry.
Michael Caton
Prior to medical school, Caton was a clinical trials project consultant in the biotech industry, ultimately working with ten Bay Area companies. He attended medical school at UCSD, where he developed his interest in the neuroanatomy of delusions, and is doing his residency at UC Davis where he has been able to pursue it. He has presented data at the Biological Psychiatry, the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the Psychosomatic Medicine meeting. He has also spoken on a panel at the International Academy for the Law and Mental Health, and will be speaking at APA in May 2018. He is currently a fourth-year research track resident at UC Davis with an interest in delusions and magnetic resonance spectroscopy. He is excited to use his experience in industry to help psychiatrists make the best use of private-sector data for their patients.
