Dr. Shannon Suo
Dr. Suo graduated from the UC Davis combined family medicine and psychiatry program in 2003. From 2003-2010, she worked as the medical director for Turning Point's Northgate Point Regional Support Team (RST), seeing patients and supervising residents in their outpatient continuity clinic. In 2010, Dr. Suo joined the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry faculty, working at the Sacramento County Primary Care Clinic Integrated Behavioral Health. In 2013, IBH began serving Medi-Cal patients under the Affordable Care Act and focuses on the integration of medical and psychiatric care. In addition to working with underserved patients, Dr. Suo's interests include teaching, care for minorities, women's career development , and the integration of medical and psychiatric care. She is current president of the Central California Psychiatric Society and serves on the board of directors for the Paul Hom Asian Clinic, a UC Davis medical student clinic.Dr. Michael Thao
Andrea Collins
Andréa Collins is a psychiatry resident at UCSF Fresno. She was born and raised in Fresno and feels fortunate to be home providing care to a community in need. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in English literature. She obtained her medical degree from Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota, where she did clinical research in sleep medicine and psychopharmacology and brought art to the bedside in her work with the Center for Humanities in Medicine. She is considering fellowship in addiction or geriatric psychiatry.
Gurpreet Aujla
Gurpreet "Ritu" Aujla, MD graduated cum laude from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary. She then spent a year at Stanford University investigating trans-diagnostic neural networks before joining the UCSF - Fresno Psychiatry Residency Program.
