Hobbies, fun facts and interests
Being active is how I decompress after a long day of work. I started doing yoga and bouldering in 2017 and I’ve continued both to this day. Some of my favorite crags are Joshua Tree and Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. One day I hope to climb Yosemite! I’ve recently gotten more into board sports and have started snowboarding and surfing as well.
Why Fresno?
I’m so happy that I was able to match in a great California program so that I could stay near my loved ones and continue pursuing my interests outside of Psychiatry. I was born and raised in NorCal, and after being in SoCal for 10 years of school it was so nice to match at a program closer to home. The pandemic completely changed how interviews were run, but despite this, UCSF Fresno was still able to create a warm and friendly environment. I knew I would get excellent training as well due to their residents’ previous success matching into prestigious child/adolescent fellowships.
