Hello All!

Kern Chapter was able to hold a Spring Meeting on April 6th at Sol Y Luna Restaurant in Bakersfield. It was a very special meeting, as the Kern Chapter was celebrating 25 years since the chapter's first meeting! We had a great turnout from members, including our RFM's! Council members shared updates in their respective roles to members. Thank you to Dr. Goklaney for your hard work in coordinating this meeting! Dr. Goklaney honored the contributions and hard work of Dr. Samra, our current RFM with a special award.  As the Kern Chapter President, the award presented to myself represented the unity and collegiality within Kern Chapter, which has been ongoing for years!  Furthermore, we introduced our new Kern Chapter President, Dr. Nandhini Madhanagopal, MD and RFM representative Dr. Itwinder Sivia, MD (PGY3). Congratulations to both and we are super excited to have you both on board! They will begin their roles after the APA meeting, which is later this month! I have attached a small collage of pictures that was shared with me after the meeting!
