Speakers:

Abdolreza Saadabadi, MD

Dr. Saadabadi completed his psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at UCLA-Kern program and became boarded certified in both adult and child psychiatry in 2013 and 2014. Since his graduation, he has been the teaching faculty at UCLA Kern and Kaweah Delta Psychiatry Residency program. Currently he is the chair of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine Department and Medical Director at Kaweah Delta Heathcare District in Visalia and Supervising faculty at UCLA-Kern Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
 

Mandeep Bagga, MD

Mandeep Bagga is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who graduated from East Carolina University in North Carolina. He is the program director of the Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Kaweah Health is Visalia, California. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences. He has a particular interest in technology, the business of medicine, empowering physicians, and education. He has research interests in utilizing new and emerging technologies to improve healthcare outcomes, reduce morbidity, improve patient wellbeing, while simultaneously reducing physician workload and burnout.

Tara Niendam, Ph.D.

Dr. Niendam is an Associate Professor in Psychiatry and completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at UCLA. She is the Executive Director of the UC Davis Early Psychosis Programs (EDAPT and SacEDAPT Clinics). She has developed 4 early psychosis programs in Northern California based on the coordinated specialty care model of early psychosis, sharing expertise on the course of early psychotic illness, evidenced based treatments for psychosis, and the use of standardized clinical assessments of early psychosis symptoms, functioning, and outcomes. 

John Onate, MD

Dr. Onate practices both Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the Sacramento County Health Center, where he currently is the director of Integrated Behavioral Health. As a faculty member at the University of California Davis School of Medicine he supervises Psychiatry, Combined Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine residents; addressing the coordination of medical care in uninsured and indigent patients with mental illness and substance disorders.

Cameron Quanbeck, MD

Dr. Quanbeck graduated from the UCLA Psychiatry Residency Program in 2001 and completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at UCDavis in 2002.  He joined the Faculty of the UCDavis Forensic Psychiatry Program in 2003.  In 2009, he joined the Department of Psychiatry Program in the San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.  Since 2010, he has served as the Medical Director of the Cordilleras Mental Health Rehabilitation Center and provides integrated psychiatric and medical care for persons with living with serious mental illness in San Mateo County.

The APA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
