UCLA Kern

The UCLA-Kern Psychiatry Residency programs provide fully accredited training with flexibility in the pursuit of individual resident and fellow interests, with an in-depth view of both the biologic and psychodynamic aspects of human behavior.  This will be accomplished by one-on-one supervisory experiences during both the 4-year general psychiatry and the 2-year fellowship training programs by full-time program faculty, faculty from other UCLA programs, and qualified clinicians from the metro-Bakersfield area, thus enabling residents and fellows to actualize their talents.
